    Feeling Great

             After almost 8 weeks we are feeling soooooo great!  We are both highly motivated to keep going until we lose our goal weight.  Both of us has managed to lose each and every week of our journey so far and will continue doing so.  More and more friends, family and co-workers are noticing and giving us the boost we need to go on.  Being on this journey together has been a great incentive in that we can continue to encourage one another until we fulfill our dreams of becoming healthy! We are planning yet another loss this week to add to our success and are excited to continue losing in the weeks to come. Open-mouthed
    February 28

    Still Chugging Along

         We have managed to lose weight for this week yet again!  We both lost another 2 lbs!  We are estatic about our ability to continue losing!  We are planning on seeing each other this weekend so we can take some pictures to show our current weight loss.  Hopefully you all will see the difference! :-)
    February 18

    So Excited

          We're so excited that we have each continued to have a loss for the fifth week in a row.  Pam lost 3 lbs, and Elizabeth lost 1.5 lbs.  By finishing out this last week, we only have 223.5 lbs to go until we reach our combined weight loss goal.  This is a big accomplishment considering that we started out with a combined weight loss goal of 260 lbs.
          We plan on another loss this coming week by fighting temptations, and continuing to motivate each other.
    February 12

    Adding to our Losses

               Another week to add to our losses!  We were both able to maintain a loss again this week bringing our combined total weight loss to 32 lbs!  Pam lost 4 more lbs and Elizabeth lost 1.5 more lbs.  This brings us to a 16 lb loss each for these first 4 weeks!  We have decided that it is imperative that we both drink more water and get lots of rest in the weeks to come.
               People that didn't know we were on this journey are starting to notice our weight loss and commenting on it.  This has really been a great incentive!  We will be getting together for Easter which will be a great opportunity to take some pictures of our progress for everyone to see! Smile
    February 04

    We Did It

          We had a big challenge this week.  We attended a social function at Pam's church that included a meal with a set menu. (Which of course wasn't on our diet).  We decided that we weren't going to let this hold us back from having another great week toward our weight loss goals.
         We didn't lose as much as in our first two weeks, but were still able to lose something.  Pam lost 1.7 lbs, and Elizabeth lost 3 lbs.  With the closing of this week, we now only have to lose a combined weight loss total of 233 lbs!
         We achieved weight loss again for the third week in a row, and plan to continue in the weeks to come.


    January 28

    We're on a Roll

          We're on a roll, we both had a great second week.  Pam lost another 4.5 lbs, and Elizabeth lost 5 lbs.  Friends and family are starting to notice the difference and our clothes are starting to fit a little differently, both are giving us great incentive to continue our journey.
         We've  added exercise into our program and it's definitely paying off!  We  feel like we've got more energy throughout the day which is new to both of us.
         We are going to continue to be just as disciplined this week, anticipating more great results!
    January 21

    Very Motivated

          Our first week went very well!  We were both able to stay on track and became 12.5 lbs closer to our combined weight loss goal of 260 lbs!!!  Pam lost 6 lbs her first week, and Elizabeth lost 6.5 lbs! 
         Through phone calls and e-mail we were able to show our support to each other even though we are many miles apart.  For the upcoming week we plan to focus on a more structured exercise program as well as continuing to eat only fresh health food with smaller portions.
         We persevered through a tough start for the both of us, and came out ahead! Open-mouthed
    January 06

    Bound and Determined

          We are best friends who also happen to be mother and daughter.  We have decided that this is the year we get healthy!  We are starting our weight loss journey together and hope to lose a combined weight of 260lbs!  Pam's weight loss goal is to lose 110lbs, and Elizabeth's is to lose 150lbs!
          We both are very avid fans of the Biggest Loser and decided that it would be a dream come true to be a part of this journey.  We want to continue to strengthen the bond that we have between us and hope that with the support of each other, and the other contestants we can achieve our goals and possibly be a part of the Biggest Loser finale.
          We plan to be successful because we are both very determined to get into shape and be healthy.  With the combination of eating healthy, exercise and moral support we will achieve our weight loss goals!
          As a very strong mother and daughter team we think we should win because we are going to work really hard, and stay motivated.  We are honest down to earth people that if given a chance will be role models for others like us.
